Tory Lanez was recently hospitalized after being stabbed during an altercation in the yard at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. The incident reportedly took place on Monday morning while he was among other inmates, according to several sources, including one in law enforcement.
Though the motive behind the attack hasn’t been confirmed, it’s reported that Lanez suffered significant injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Bakersfield for emergency care.
This violent episode occurred not long after Lanez shared a photo from prison, where he appeared in good physical shape and hinted at an upcoming album release.
Lanez is serving a 10-year prison sentence related to the 2020 shooting involving rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Legal conflicts between the two artists are ongoing, with Megan alleging that Lanez has continued to target her through online harassment and coordinated attacks via bloggers.
