Amber Heard Celebrates Motherhood with Arrival of Twins Agnes and Ocean

“Amber Heard shares her joy this Mother’s Day as she welcomes twins Agnes and Ocean, calling their arrival the beautiful completion of her dream family.”

Amber Heard has shared joyful news on Instagram, announcing the birth of her twins in a post timed with Mother’s Day in the United States.

The 39-year-old actress introduced her daughter, Agnes, and son, Ocean, expressing overwhelming happiness as she celebrated what she described as the “completion” of her family.

Already a mother to her first child, Oonagh, born in 2021, Heard accompanied the announcement with a heartwarming image featuring three pairs of feet — a symbol of her expanded family. She reflected on her path to motherhood, describing it as profoundly humbling and a decision she made with intention, particularly in light of past fertility challenges.

Choosing motherhood on her own terms, Heard said the journey was one she approached with care and purpose, stating she was “overflowing with joy.” She shared that she had long dreamed of building this family and was grateful to finally see it realized.

“To every mother, no matter where you are or how you arrived at motherhood — my little family and I celebrate with you today,” she wrote.

Back in 2021, upon the birth of Oonagh, Heard spoke about challenging traditional expectations surrounding parenthood. She expressed a desire to normalize the idea of raising a child without the societal pressure of marriage, calling it a radical yet empowering choice for women.

Heard is known for her roles in films such as Aquaman, The Rum Diary, Zombieland, and Drive Angry. She was previously married to actor Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2016, a relationship that later led to two highly publicized defamation lawsuits — one in the UK and the other in the U.S.

In the 2022 Virginia trial, Depp filed a defamation suit over a Washington Post article in which Heard described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse, though she did not mention him directly. Depp denied the claims and was awarded $15 million in damages by the jury. Heard’s counterclaim resulted in a partial victory, with the court granting her $2 million in compensation.
